“Perfect get-away home.” You can't beat a quiet morning cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the bay and watching the lobstermen hauling in their traps. The beautiful starry night skies are also an amazing sight. This spacious lodge had more amenities than we dreamed of. Peaceful and secluded with a gorgeous view but close to many antique shops, Acadia N.P., Bar Harbor, places to buy lobsters, and other attractions. Something for everyone! We often saw Bald Eagles on our way down the long driveway. On the morning that we had to leave, I stood on the deck gazing across the water, and was joined 1 by 1 by each member of our family, each of us having the same thought- we did not want to leave! We would highly recommend this rental and hope to return some day!

“Perfect!” The Shubert Bungalow was such a nice place to stay.It was so clean and there was everything that you neeeded in it.You could relax out on the deck or in the rocking chairs out front.One of the best things was that you could walk right to the carriage roads or walk to Jordan Park for lunch or dinner.It was the best place we ever stayed at.I would definitely go back!

“Comfy and Clean” Our family of five just returned from staying five nights in Winter Harbor. The stay was wonderful and the house was really great. We all felt so at home. The house was spotlessly clean. The neighborhood was very friendly. The owner provided so much helpful information on area sights and restaurants. There was everything we could possible need in the house for cooking. Three bedrooms upstairs provided nice privacy for early risers to start their day without bothering the others. Nice little deck for quiet reading in the sun. Short bike ride to Grindstone Neck. Could have easily biked to Schoodic Point but ended up driving. Just loved it. Hope we can go back again!!!

“perfect” We love Oar Island. It is the perfect vacation place for families with children of different ages, or just a couple. There is hiking, sunning, relaxation, but mostly what we love about Oar Island is the isolation. It is an adventure as well, since the only way to get there is by the little motorboat. It is a getaway for certain kinds of people; but if you prefer the Marriott type of stay, this is not that kind, it is much more "out-doorsy".

“Amazingly well equipped and idylically located.” Everything you could want in a vacation cottage except a beach. Great for a poet or a painter. Not a lot of action in the immediate neighborhood, but not far away.Quiet, well maintained and comfortable.

“Family Getaway” Wyman's Willa was perfect for our family. Swimming at the camp was great for the younger children and the swimming at the dock was also awesome! Resting on the deck under shaded umbrellas, while smelling our dinners grilling couldn't have been better. Taking in a play at the oldest running theater in the US help add to our vacation, as well as playing miniature Golf enjoying ice cream after was also a great treat! Seeing a Eagle while kayaking really topped it off. Over all, the comforts of the camp and enjoying our surroundings will be a lasting memory for our family. We hope to come back and enjoy this wonderful getaway again next year.

“Couldn't ask for more!” This rental cottage was extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners were very hospitable and were available for all our needs including questions concerning the Camden area. The lawn and gardens were well maintained. We spent many evenings sitting in the adirondack chairs on the front lawn and many mornings enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The location was ideal as we could walk into town to shop, sight see and sit by the harbor and watch the boats while enjoying an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. We were four senior citizens looking for a quiet, comfortable and friendly locale and we found it here. We all said we would definitely return to Camden and stay at this home-away-from-home again.
