“love love loved!!” This was a beautiful and comfortable stay!! The name suits it very well! Not only do you wake to the waves, but to fall asleep to them is even better!! I loved the simple walk to the beach and the convenience of the pool!! I must admit, being able to watch my husband and kids play on the beach while i watched from the bedroom balcony was by far my favorite!! Love love loved it!! Thanks cheryl!! “Awesome” My son and I went down and stayed at Sea Vista for a week in late September and it was totally awesome. We have been in a few condos on South Padre Island and seavista was the best one we stayed at. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go down again next year

“Great time except for Harvey” Our family stayed in Casa Caracol C. The condo was large and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. We had a great time. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Harvey. The owner, Roberto, came out to check on us and give us updates from the city regarding storm updates and evacuating. We ended up leaving early. If not for Harvey we were planning to extend our stay.

“OK” Ice maker didn't work and manager already knew about it. Shower heads are not adjustable. Remote control for living room was so worn out , the numbers on the buttons were unreadable.

“Beautiful and spacious!” This house is huge! Fully stocked kitchen and bedrooms. Perfect for 6 adults and 4 kids. Each room has it's own bathroom. Beach toys and chairs are available for use. Cat was kind enough to keep in touch during our stay to answer simple questions as to where to find items. Best of all, Whataburger is so close!

“Very nice unit located in the middle of everything to do at SPI!” Everything was as advertised. Really enjoyed our stay. We will return again next year. We had 4 adults so the guest bedroom beds are really designed for kids so a bit small for adults.

“Home away from home” Perfect family getaway! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Casa Malbec. We were first attracted to the home for it's name, Bei g avif wine drinkers. The accommodations are not only comfortable but very well kept. Our family felt at home and enjoyed the short walk to the beach each day in addition to our onsite pool. We can't wait to visit again next year!

“Best Place We've Stayed at South Padre Island” My family and I had an awesome trip to South Padre Island. LOVED the condo!!! It had everything we needed. The condo was beautifully decorated and felt extremely clean. A big plus for me. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view and the easy access to the beach. Having kids, that was a huge benefit. After a great day at the beach, we enjoyed the pool and spa! Ed, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to another visit.

“Pet friendly beach view condo” The location is amazing -from a bar b que pit to the beach right at the door step!! Kitchen is fully stocked from non-stick pans to bake ware. All you need is food! “Very good!” Everything was great! The owners were really nice and would respond quickly to any questions we had. The check in process was easy and quick. Equipped with everything we needed, even had board games and beach chairs in one closet. The condo was very nice and clean, everything was working, the views were awesome! Would deffenitly recommend and will be returning soon!

“Summer family week” Our stay was a great experience with the family. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and place is very clean. We did experience some loud partying by a young group celebrating a birthday with a very large group of young people that were quite loud until 5am. We did have to ask them to keep it down as were trying tp get some rest before returning home the following morning. We were more concerned about our kids driving back home to Houston. We do like and would return next summer but would ask for the property owner to keep this as a family friendly place and not a party house.

“Just perfect!” I came with my family and we all just LOVED our stay! We enjoyed so much waking up with the view and having the beach right there! We even took advantage of all the toys and beach chairs they had for us! Towels, coffee, toilet paper, shampoo, EVERYTHING! We are IN LOVE and will definitely be returning! Plus super friendly owners! We even forgot something and had to come back to get it and they were so nice to let us in even when we had checked out hours ago! Lovely experience!

“Beautiful, very quiet, beachfront condo!!” My husband and I booked this condo for a beach getaway with our two daughters ages 12 and 16. We were looking for something quiet and relaxing with easy access to the beach and this was exactly what we got. The whole condo is perfectly furnished and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. I usually don't sleep well at rentals because I'm used to sleeping on a tempurpedic, but this bed was great. Even the sheets felt high end. Much better than you get a regular hotel. My girls loved their room as well. It was so quiet (which is how we like it) that I slept better at the condo than at my own home. It literally felt like we were the only ones there. This would be a great rental for couples, retirees or for a family like our own looking to get away from everyday stressors who enjoy a laid back, beachy vibe. Literally, the only thing you will hear are beach waves when on your beachfront balcony. We plan on coming back again. Owner was very attentive to all needs and responded quickly to all questions we had before booking.

Only one-half mile across at its widest, South Padre Island nestles just off the southern tip of Texas, with the Laguna Madre on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Friday evenings during the summer, stop by one of the bars or restaurants on the Laguna Madre side of the island so you can watch the weekly fireworks display.
With average temperatures between 70° and 90° – rarely dropping below 60° even during winter – just about any time is a great time to visit South Padre Island. Springtime brings migrating birds and nesting turtles back to the island, fall celebrates Sandcastle Days, and the weather is gorgeous year-‘round.By car, drive to Port Isabel and cross the causeway. Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport is served by American Airlines, United Airlines and AeroMéxico. Valley International Airport in Harlingen is served by Southwest Airlines, AirTrans, Sun Country Airlines, and Delta Airlines. Shuttle service to South Padre Island is available from both airports.
The WAVE, South Padre Island’s free shuttle, runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and serves both South Padre Island and Port Isabel, the nearest mainland city. It’s handicapped-accessible and equipped with bike racks and free Wi-Fi. For those who might prefer to get around under their own steam, bicycle rentals are also available.
