“Great Thanksgiving on Folly Beach” Overall excellent stay. House is very comfortable, has immense charm, perfect location for enjoying Folly Beach restaurants, etc., a short stroll to the beach, a block from the justly fabled Bert's Market. Promised amenities were all there and working. Really liked and took advantage of the screened-in porch. And Dave Rockey did a superb job getting heating fixed as soon as I texted him that it wasn't working. Impressed in general w/ management responsiveness. One or two minor quibbles - house could use a more thorough cleaning. Once we got below the surface (e.g., using baking pans) we had to do some pre-use washing, and oven really needs to be cleaned. Rather astonishing, too, to find that there were only 2 wineglasses, and they were plastic. Yet, three corkscrews...

“Thanksgiving at Folly Beach” We loved staying at Julia’s adorable cottage right in the heart of Folly Beach! Very comfortable and well appointed 2BR 2BA apartment, and we especially appreciated how easy Julia made it to bring our two four-legged family members for the Thanksgiving celebration. Especially appreciated being right next door to a great coffee shop, steps from a bunch of amazing restaurants, and close to the pier and beach.

“Short beach getaway” Accommodations were nice and clean. We were within walking distance to beach,restaurants, and shopping!! Would reccomend to a small family or couple, as space is limited...but just as described and property manager was very informative and super nice!!!!

“Perfect location for a great vacation” I have traveled to Folly Island many times and find the condo at Turn of River perfect. The location makes it easy to travel to Charleston for great restaurants, tours or shopping. Even better, the convenience to live music, bars, restaurants and the beach on Folly Island itself is great. Everything Folly has to offer is accessible by walking, bike riding or when you are lugging beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. parking your car near the beach is very easy (and free). The condo itself is very spacious giving everyone their own privacy and bathroom yet the opportunity to be together. The kitchen is brand new, making cooking very pleasurable after being out all day. The location, size and cleanliness of the condo makes traveling to it year after year very enjoyable for myself and my family. There is so much to do in the area, and being a recreational golfer, we have tried many local beautiful courses, all of which are a reasonable drive from the condo. I highly recommend this condo whether you are traveling with your spouse, family, or friends - there is something nearby for everyone, even if it's sitting on the condo's patio to watch dolphin swim in the River.

“This is a very good cottage, and everything I used worked well.” This is a very nice cottage, beachfront, with a deck overlooking the ocean. I opted not to cook and ate out, so I did not use the kitchen. It is a short drive to Center Street, the main business section of Folly Beach. Two things: the hot water in the shower was interrupted and ran cold before returning to hot, and the back door, while locked, was not secure.
