“Perfect Beach House” We loved the quaint little duplex. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Tim was a dream to work with. The A/C one of the units went out while we were there, and he had someone there first thing to take care of it. We will definitely be looking to rent from Tim again in the future.

“Love this place” We absolutely loved our stay at the beach house. It was perfect for us and our two dogs. If you love wildlife it is perfect. Many birds and several dolphins were seen Several crabs on our beach. Plan on coming back next year. The morning sunrises were beautiful.

“great place for florida vacation” the location was great, 180 degree views of the beach and water. manager Dan was very helpful and accomodating. condo was modern, spacious and well laid out for our family of 4 adults and 3 kids. kitchen was huge and well equipped pool was practically private. parking ample and mostly covered. beach chairs were in need of updating and perhaps too readily available for non-residents. perfect vacation for swimming, beach walks and shell hunting. plan to stay again if possible.

“"Home from Home"” A very well appointed apartment in a great location that had everything you would wish for to enhance your vacation experience. A real home from home that is clean, well furnished and spacious. The owners have been great to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. I have already recommended this accommodation to friends who were similarly impressed and we will be staying here for the third time later this year.

“Great place for a family Stay” We stayed for 5 days in June. Very clean and comfortble close to the beach and quiet. Excellent experience. We left some items there and they were even shipped to us promptly.

“Family friendly” My family and I enjoyed our stay in Florida and we all loved being able to be under one roof again. My mothers dream was to take us 6 kids, now adults, to the ocean again. Also, she wanted her two new grand-sons to see the ocean fir the first time. Her dream was made reality staying at a beautiful beach house only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. The beach access was beyond beautiful and as close to your own private beach, for at this time of year there was no crowding. The pool at the house was great for cooling off after a day at the beach and the pool room had several toys and floating devices for the kids to use. The house was fully stocked with towels for multiple days and the washer and dryer came in handy with babies around! The living room seating was great for a big family to gather around for late night discussions and the kitchen stocked with basic appliances for cooking and cleaning.The only thing that could have made the stay better, was a little comfier mattresses in the bedrooms. However the case, this beach house was a cherry on top to my family's short fall vacation to Florida!

“Home away from home” This place is an incredible value. It's spacious and comfortable, and we felt right at home. Sarasota Bay is just steps from the back patio, and it's so lovely to sit outside and watch water--so many fish, dolphins, and birds right there. Everything was in good working order and clean upon our arrival. The beach is a quick walk across the street from the complex, and we spent a lot of time at the heated pool. We would love to rent this unit again! PERFECT LOCATION.

“Excellent condo with elevator for all the ladies” Sharkey's Bar and Grill was by far the bet prime rib around. Sandbar had the best fish platter and Skinny's the best burgers and the City Pier Restaurant had great shrimp overall excellent food all around.

“out standing place to stay” I would/will stay here again when we come back down. Everything is top notch and the home has everything you need. We enjoyed the pool and hot tube, used it every night. Mike and Lesley are very easy to work with and do anything to make things go smoothly.

“Island Paradise” The moment we arrived, exhausted after many delays and problems, the Thomas' home became our home. The condo is well appointed, with comfortable beds, a wonderful kitchen and a fully stocked linen closet, right down to beach towels. Laine, Kevin and Howard are so responsive and saw to all of our needs. Location was prime. We walked to get groceries, eat and do other shopping. There were 7 miles of beaches to explore and the quaint villages of anna Maria and Cortez and Bridge Street kept us occupied when we weren't soaking up the sun. The lanai was my favorite place to drink my coffee and check out the action at the pool each morning . We ate the majority of our meals there, under the twinkling lights. It was a wonderful month!

About Anna Maria Island
Just south of Tampa Bay on the turquoise Gulf of Mexico, sits a quaint Barrier Island located on Florida's West Coast. Lined by a seven-mile strip of beautiful white-sand beaches, Anna Maria Island is a cozy paradise that has long been considered one of the state's hidden gems. Here, "Old Florida" charm abounds and visitors can get a feel for Florida, the way it used to be.
With seven miles of uninterrupted beach, Anna Maria Island offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy fun in the sun and explore. The island shares its beach life with local wildlife. Turtles visit from May - November every year (nest tours are offered in the summer) and year round visitors shouldn't be surprised to see manatees, dolphins, rays and exotic fish beyond the waves.
In addition to its picturesque beaches, Anna Maria Island is home to many award-winning dining options, including bistros, cafes and restaurants (there are no chain restaurants to be found). The island has been recognized nationally for its locally sourced food, unique menu items and on-the-water locations offering top views. Diners can expect gourmet dining options offering cuisine from England, France, Germany, Italy, Asia and Spain, as well as "Floribbean" dishes and seafood delicacies straight from the nearby sea. Top seafood choices include: grouper, red snapper, mullet and blue crab. Visitors are even invited to bring their catch into some of the area's top restaurants, like the Sandbar and Beachhouse.
For guests looking for fun off the sand as well, there are many art galleries, museums or aquariums in the area. And, the island is surrounded by nature parks and gorgeous naturally landscaped paths worth exploring.
Anna Maria Island also offers many top options for shopping at its many souvenir, jewelry, clothing and antique stores. Pine Avenue (known as the Greenest Little Main Street in America) is lined by great stylish boutiques and specialty shops and leads directly on to the 100 year old Anna Maria City Pier which offers picturesque views of the bay. Holmes Beach offers seven blocks of stores, small unique gift shops, adorable café's, art galleries and a grocery store. Additionally, stores on the newly restored Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach offers an unusual blend of arts and crafts unique to the island, reflecting its Bohemian roots.
Anna Maria Island also boasts a wide variety of accommodations ranging from historic bed and breakfasts, to beach-side cottages, cozy luxury homes, as well as condo rentals and spacious villas, which are all locally owned and operated and offer a unique experience. Tall sky-rise and commercial buildings do not exist on Anna Maria Island, with most accommodations measuring at less than three stories.
Additionally, the island is becoming a top choice for beach destination weddings. So much so that many are referring to the setting as the "Beach Wedding Capital of Florida".
